How we started
Girls TogetHER started in June of 2018. We met with librarians and decided to have our first camp at Malvern Library. 66 mentees and 48 mentors, we have held three camps and six workshops at Malvern Library, Paoli Library, Royersford Library, Phoenixville Library, and Simpson Recreation Center. Our goal is to create a connected community of empowered girls who are confident in themselves, their ability to be leaders, and how they can give back to disadvantaged girls around the world.
We value gender equality, female leadership, and recognize the importance of social impact. We want to instill all of these values in our mentors and mentees, especially at the age of 4th-6th grade.
